The contest is open to two categories with one grand prize winner and two runners-up selected from each category:
A. Students enrolled, at the time of entry, in an accredited design school on either a full-time or part-time basis, and all persons who have graduated from such a school within the six-month period immediately preceding the start date of this Contest.
B. The general public. This category includes anyone other than those who qualify for entry as a "Student of Design".
Professional jewelry designers or sellers are NOT eligible to participate in either category.
Only one design may be submitted by each person/student. There is no limit of designs that can be submitted from a particular school.
Rings, bracelets, earrings, pendants or necklaces. Designs can be for women or men.
Fashion jewelry that would retail for approximately $1,000 or less crafted in white or yellow gold. Designs can incorporate diamonds and/or genuine gemstones. Designs must be original and cannot have been entered into any other design competition.
Either an original sketch or a color copy may be submitted. All sketches entered must be at least 10 x 14 inches in size. No information may appear on the face of the design. Designs which do not conform to this format will not be accepted.
ENTRY FORM
All entries must be accompanied by a fully completed signed entry form and will become the property of DI and will not be returned.

All entries must be received by May 31st, 2008. DI cannot be responsible for late or lost mail. We suggest that you use FedEx or UPS when submitting your entries to us.
